What is an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES)?
An Advanced Electronic Signature (AES), known in Italy as Firma Elettronica Avanzata (FEA), is designed to identify the signer and protect the integrity of the signed document. Cyberneid provides solutions that support electronic signing processes in line with the applicable eIDAS framework.
How does the electronic signing process work?
The process starts by uploading the document to be signed. The signer then creates an electronic identity, which is associated with their identity details. Once this step is complete, they can open the document and apply the electronic signature. The signed document is then ready to be sent or archived.
Can I use the Italian Electronic Identity Card (CIE) to sign documents?
Yes. Firmo con CIE enables users to apply an Advanced Electronic Signature using the Italian Electronic Identity Card. The solution is available as a mobile app and can also be integrated into business services through SDK or white-label options.
Which electronic signature types does Cyberneid support?
Cyberneid’s integrated platform supports different electronic signature methods, including graphometric signatures, OTP signatures, Advanced Electronic Signatures and qualified signatures through Aruba. The appropriate method depends on the requirements of your signing workflow.
